JOINT BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

Meeting Schedule:

The Joint Board of Zoning Appeals, (BZA) regular monthly meeting is scheduled for the third Thursday of each month. The meeting is held at the County Board of Supervisors Meeting Room, 302 North Main Street, Culpeper, beginning at 7 p.m.

Purpose of the Board:

The BZA is a joint Town and County Board and serves as a semi-judicial body of five (5) Town and County citizens who serve five-year terms and who are given the authority under the state and local laws to provide relief of strict applications of the Zoning Ordinance. The Board may grant variances and hear Appeals of the Zoning Administrator's decision.
